Gas Conditioning Units

Tech Fab’s gas conditioning units are used to purify and pretreat natural gas produced from gas wells, crude oil, or condensate wells to meet strict pipeline quality specifications and compression fuel gas requirements. By removing natural impurities, our gas conditioning fabrications improve pipeline capacity, reduce the BTU of gas, provide hydrocarbon dewpoint control, and maximize valuable LNG recovery that can be either reused to power your facility or stored. Our gas conditioning units reliably deliver clean, dry, and superheated gas that is critical to preventing costly issues, damage, and downtime of downstream components such as gas turbines, compressors, and burners.

Tech Fab designs, engineers, and fabricates modular gas conditioning units that offer durable and economical solutions. These self-contained, skid-mounted units with easy tie-in points are designed as either a standalone solution or part of a full-scale, turnkey EPFC natural gas processing plant. Tech Fab’s engineered-to-design gas conditioning fabrications increase downstream gas capacity in pipelines, streamline and optimize operations, reduce unscheduled downtime, safeguard downstream pipelines and equipment, offer time-to-market advantages, and reduce capex and overall costs.  

Design and Features

Our standard gas conditioning unit is a JT skid model that features a gas-to-gas heat exchanger, methanol injection pump, control package, pressure control valve (JT valve), and an insulated two-phase separator with necessary piping. These units are skid-mounted for quick and easy installation that provides an immediate processing upgrade to any gas production and treatment application. In fact, our JT gas conditioning units are designed to handle high-pressure, remote wells without access to a centralized gas gathering facility.
