What is structural fabrication?  We at Tech-Fab consider structural fabrication to be the use of custom fabrication processes and procedures, including one or more of these capabilities - turning, bending, welding, shearing, cutting, forming, rolling or machining – to construct and manufacture custom support and bracing parts and assemblies for a wide array of industrial applications.  Structural fabrication includes the fabrication of support members, platforms, structural steel framing and similar components.  Structural fabrication also includes the construction of support structures, parts, and sub-assemblies for platform jackets, turbine skids, subsea components, and transport equipment, to name a few.  Any component, assembly or part that supports the load of the overall structure and contributes to the integrity and safety of the system can be considered structural fabrication.

Specific examples of structural fabrication parts and assemblies produced by Tech-Fab include:

• Platforms – launch and recovery skids, turbine skids
• Handrail components – production run of 10,000 (for a long term contract)
• Platform jackets and components – water well derricks, pipe hanger derricks
• Complex support braces requiring horizontal and vertical supports, in unique shapes and sizes
• Production railcar components
• Aluminum plate processing (ABS Certified), Welding and Machining
